Tasmanian Bridge

Photo: Sunset and bridge
Purple is a versatile color. Combining the fire of red with the serenity of blue,
it has the ability to soothe as well as excite passion.
Purple is prevalent in nature in everything from eggplants to amethysts,
and humans have adopted it as a symbol of royalty.
Here, Ross Bridge in Tasmania is cloaked in a mauve sunset.
The beautiful sandstone span, built by convicts in 1836,
is one of Australia's oldest and is decorated with an impressive array
 of carvings.

Beautiful
(Cherie Call)
Look at all the signs, Look at all the shows

All the glamorous people who claim to know

What perfection is and what makes beauty stay

But when all the styles go out and the labels fade away
It's what you give that makes you beautiful

It's how you live that makes your dreams come true

Keep your faith in this world,

And let the light of the Lord shine through

That's what makes you beautiful
Nothing burns as bright, nothing shimmers so

As the smile of a friend when hope is running low

And how your hand feels warm when you dry a tear

Love is still in fashion at the end of every year
Even roses fade away in the snow

But the beauty in your heart can always grow

try again ...posted by jocelyn

Try Again
(Cherie Call)

There was a girl who rode a bike
And her father held the seat
And ran for his life right behind
And when he was sure she wouldn't know
Sometimes he'd just let go
And there she was going on just fine
But every time she looked back
She crashed and burned
You'd think she would have learned
Still her dad was there to kiss her cheek and say

"You have to try again
Even if the world has seen you crying
Try again
It may be the hardest thing to do,
But I'll be there to catch you when you fall."

The girl grew up and lost her heart
When she gave the deepest part
To a person who would turn and walk away
And as the weeks would pass her by
She cried every tear there was to cry
Till she was sure
She was through with those sad days
But every time she looked back
She crashed and burned
You'd think she would have learned
But she would call her friends and they would always say

"You have to try again
Even if the world has seen you crying
Try again
It may be the hardest thing to do,
But we'll be there to catch you when you fall."

Everyone will fall a time or two and
Time and mercy heal the wounds
But the most important thing you can do
Is whisper a prayer, and then as soon as you dare,
Try again
Try again

Cause there is a world that's full of light
But sometimes I can't forget
Mistakes that I have made from time to time
I wonder how different life would be
If I'd gone a different way
At some crossroad that's a thousand miles behind
And every time I look back
I crash and burn
You'd think I would have learned
But there's still a voice inside me that will say

"You have to try again
Even if the world has seen you falling
Try again
Try again
Even if the world has seen you crying,
Try again
And the Lord will see you through,
And he'll be there to catch you when you fall."

pray for rain ...posted by jocelyn

eng | 21 四月, 2009 11:34

No
(Cherie Call)
A little boy
at the end of a day knelt by his bed to say a prayer

And Father up in Heaven heard the prayer he prayed

And listened to each word with greatest care

The boy said,

"Please bless that tomorrow I won't have to take a bath,

And bless that they will cancel school for snow."

And God had the power to protect him and never let him grow

But He said, "No."
A young man was holding tightly to the hand of a girl who had to say
goodbye

And as she walked away he had to whisper a prayer

As he fought every tear that filled his eyes

He whispered,
"Please can you make her turn around and change her mind?

It's the deepest hurt that I have ever known."

And God had the power to protect him and never let him grow

But He said, "No."
And there are yeses that our father can hardly wait to give

And they are packed in every crevice of the lives we live

Sometimes God will pour down miracles and amazing twists of fate

And other times He chooses just to whisper, "Wait."
How many times have I prayed for blue skies

So no one has to cancel the game

And I feel so abandoned when the sky gets dark

Never knowing all the ones who prayed for rain

And usually the story's even trickier than this

With solutions that only God could know

But if you ask Him if He's ever overlooked you

Or ceased to love you so

He'll say, "No."

資訊狂熱informania by jocelyn

這個字是由information(資訊)和mania(狂熱)結合而來的。

(Unconscious  Incompetence

(Conscious  Incompetence

(Consious  Competence
(Powerful Question):

(Unconscious  Competence
